The light itself is great. We keep it on in daylight hours so it’s not too bright or shocking. Built-in timer is a nice touch.

Only thing i would add to new models in the future is a dimmer switch. This grow light has better spectral coverage than a majority of the grow lights for sale. The 2000w light is bright, low heat and easy to hang and adjust.

The rubber coating surrounding the * and the power supply have a bit of width to them and seem to help keep the unit waterproof. Plastic seals seem to reinforce the plausibility of waterproof.
