It's soft and breathable. Soft and is a nice weight that falls around you creating a snug feeling.
It covers the mattress on both sides completely. I'm washing it often along with my bottom sheet and pillowcase. Fits a queen sized bed much better than s 90 x 90 blanket.
It's lightweight, breathable, warm enough for me even when it’s chilly out and the air on. But for being against my skin, it's a little scratchy - compared to my other down and fleece throws.

Sleep quality of this throw is amazing. I find myself waking up on the same spot and position, and feel more rested. I'm at that age that i overheat in the night, and my legs are more restless.
I tend to get hot easily, but this blanket doesn't make me sweaty. The fabric is so very buttery and soft and the blanket stays cool during the night. We still use our original comforter *on top of* the baloo blanket.
The baloo weighted blanket is the first blanket i've ever owned, since 1985, that stays with me the entire night after i'm tucked in to sleep. The weights keep it from being messy looking after getting up.
All cotton and silicone glass beads. Weight distribution is very even; there are no heavier or lighter areas. Beads are evenly spread and not easily felt lumped up.
It is not a fresh looking white, but rather dull. Did not help my anxiety. It’s a loose loose for us.
