Battery technology and functionality of the ego blower is well engineered. No fussing with power cords, no issues with fuel, fuel lines, clogs etc. Only drawback with this battery is it massive and it is very heavy.

Stand-alone 2. A/hr battery and charger for less than the price of this $200 stand-alone battery. Per charge, this one lasts about as long as my back does, so no complaints. It's 5 amp hours.

Ego only warranties them for 36 months. Absolutely scummy behavior by the manufacturer. For the price, it's absurd to have this fail completely at 4 yrs old. Save yourself the trouble and by a honda mower.

Expensive equipment and zero support. Been very careful with these batteries and with storage/charging. I own four ego tools but will purchase no more as ego has turned out to be poor value.
