This chess set is exceptionally well made for its price. It really looks like a craftsman took some care in making this set. Beautifully crafted and elegant-looking chess board.

The magnetic board is awesome. I'm blown away. The board is really smooth with no cracks between the squares. This set is beautiful.

The pieces are good and easy to take in and out of the slot. They're formed and finished very nicely. I wish it was a bit stronger but then the pieces would stick together more.

It's an affordable option that doesn't compromise on functionality or durability. Great for beginners and casual players.

The quality simply isn't there. I get it, sometimes there are manufacturing defects and something needs to be reworked; but this should not have passed a quality inspection, imho. Not a good value at all.

Out of the box one of the pieces was cracked near the bottom. Metal plates under the cardboard top weren't glued it. There's glue there, but they didn't press the plates into the glue. One of the black pawn spots in the case is loose so it mostly fall...  Read More
