This is almost the most impressive thing i've put into my rig. It works as well as advertised, perhaps better than i expected. Would definitely recommend.

The soundstage is open and clean, even when bumping up the preamplification by +3db. The adjustment is nice on albums that were mastered quieter. It is easy to add a few decibels to those quiet albums and subtract a few on the loud ones.

As others have stayed it has outstanding playback for the money.

The sound of the djpreii is very flat and lifeless. That means the pre amp died within two months. Changing the input impedance changed nothing.
