They are small enough to keep in a purse, vehicle or draw. The only real drawback is a minor one. I wish is that it came with a belt clip.

The beam is very bright. The battery life is very good too. It is much brighter than others i've purchased at large chain hardware stores that were assimilate in size. The metal quality doesn't feel cheap.
