They are small enough to keep in a purse, vehicle or draw. The only real drawback is a minor one. I wish is that it came with a belt clip.

The light cone is sharp. It's a tad high for an otherwise welcome and satisfyingly simple everyday product. Gone through alot of small lights but seem to like this one.

Follow aa battery installation per instructions with negative terminals down even though counterintuitive. Batteries go in backwards, but that's not really a big deal.

The clip is nice and one of the ends is a magnet which i didn't originally realize. Versatile with its ability to make a right angle and magnetic base.

There are 8 leds on the strip, and they shine an oblong blob of light. The lamp is a side-mounted cob strip, which is very bright.
