I use them as carpet hold down weights on out outdoor rv carpet. They look great and hold up to the elements outside. Our new home has a hardwood floor in the bedroom.
Very sturdy. Replaced on all my dining chairs. Overall good, not great.
Be sure to drill a small hole with a diameter smaller than the nail first to avoid splitting the wood leg. I typically just add a round felt sticky pad to make the chairs quieter.
Box only contains 39. Thin gauge nails result in bending when hammered into chair legs. Also the nail has a tendency to break off from the plastic backing. Broken x-protector after trying to simply hammer it into the bottom of a chair leg.
