It is a bit involved and intricate but definitely worth doing. It works perfectly and looks great. Saved me $200. The button is fairly expensive for what it is, but better than buying a whole new doorbell cam.

The new button is to hard and does not activate the ring doorbell when you try to push it. Not worth it.

The bell seems durable. The adhesive that comes with the bells is super sturdy and so is the bell. The sticky pads are good enough.

Used this to potty train our great dane pup. We have a 50lb hound that would bark and paw at the door to get inside. You just need to invest the time with your pup to be successful.
