Once the whole apparatus is together, it feels pretty sturdy. Worth the cost, in my opinion.
The game incorporates kinetic sand. It has a similar play to the classic kerplunk game, but is actually a bit more interesting because of the unknown factor of not being able to see what is going on underneath the kinetic sand.
Players take turns pulling out colored sticks kerplunk style until pieces start dropping through the sand. The roll of the dice gives it some randomness, but there is also a bit of strategy in choosing which stick to pull.
It’s like a card version of balderdash and high school debate class. The fact that one person knows the answer from the cars feels like a flaw in the game design.
