Everything sounds clear in my daw. The sound is really clear, accurate, and there's no popping or hissing.
Has a little more handling noise than the sm58 but looks just like it. At this price, if they do use it to nail in nails, like the famous sm58, it's cheap to replace. The sure 48 is an excellent substitute with significant savings.
For other uses, this mic is just fine. I basically have to makeout with the mic for people to hear me. This mic evened her out.
The sound is still a little boxy and usable directly. My recommendation would be to fine tune your recording with some sort of eq processing app afterwards.
Shure always makes a good product. Wasn't disappointed. Great quality, surprising. Impressed for the money.
There's a reason it's discounted. It's too soft. Several things didn't meet my expectations. Not sure why. Just don't buy.
