The sound is still a little boxy and usable directly. My recommendation would be to fine tune your recording with some sort of eq processing app afterwards.

The lyra has a plastic body, mounting knobs, and adjustment knobs. The stand is stable and there’s a socket so you can mount the mic to a mic boom.

An absolutely incredible microphone. Got an incredible deal on it at $69. It is easily worth twice that, imo. It gets two thumbs up from me!

The akg mic is a plug and play device that works very well. The mic plugs into a usb port, and the headset rca jack plugs into the mic.

This particular whining sound comes and goes. It is not plug and play with the iphone. There's circuitry that's waking up upon audio playback or other activities. The high pitched left-channel whine is unacceptable.
