The kayak fits easily but snuggly in the base of the hooks. Easy installation, easy to use, and padded hooks mean no scrapes to the kayak. Amp; durability means peace of mind!

The structure seems sturdy with good padding to protect kayak. Holds my 80lbs ascend kayak with ease. Sonoma perception (45 lbs) and but a 12' old town dirigo also fits.

They appear to be made of hardened cream cheese. Not at all suitable for a big tandem. Still falls out over 12 hr period. I am disappointed that amazon would sell something like this.

The mounting hardware is junk. The bottom bracket is 1-1/2 on bolt centers and drilling into a stud measuring 1-5/8 inch in width is impossible.

Much easier and neater than tying the bungee. Works perfectly with my shock cord. Will purchase more when needed.
