It's anybody's game (see #4), it teaches some perseverance. Kids even learn a little geography as they play, racing from city to city around the world. It has educational aspects of math, geography & cultural awareness. Petersburg and milan.
The mechanics are easy enough for kids to pick up right away. The instruction is easy. The game is very doable for 3+.
It's straightforward enough that he's able to play with only occasional guidance. He sometimes tries to start his turn by rolling the dice instead of drawing a card.
Good set for my son and me. Bought for my grandson. Grandson really enjoys it. Gave it as a gift to my nephew. Has several beginner levels.
Excalibur king arthur is a cool concept but the unit is, somehow, basically flawed. Pieces are very lightweight and fall over easily. Sadly, the computer loses track of where the pieces are.
The screw that secures the battery compartment is tiny. Piece of junk.
