It's anybody's game (see #4), it teaches some perseverance. Kids even learn a little geography as they play, racing from city to city around the world. It has educational aspects of math, geography & cultural awareness. Petersburg and milan.
The mechanics are easy enough for kids to pick up right away. The instruction is easy. The game is very doable for 3+.

Catan is a simplified version of the classic catan game. Adults can enjoy it, while simplified enough that kids can be competitive and get excited by it. Good for learning the basics of catan. Great for a family meal at the dining table.
The rules and board are a streamlined version of the original. The instructions and rules are so easy to learn and follow. We wish it lasts more in the 45 minute range.
Quality is fantastic as well, very durable with thick cardboard cards and quality plastic game pieces. Heavy cardboard stock for resource cards is very durable. Love this game.
It’s a quick game, but very engaging! It is challenging and fun for all. Once u get a hang of that, you know the game, which is super easy and entertaining.
This game has some major problems that make the game unenjoyable. The game board is extremely flawed. This board is pile of garbage.
