The two hoya plants consistently give new growth. The amount of new growth and the increase of perk in the leaves far outshines my other grow lights. My cypress is very satisfied apparently and grow faster.
There is an on/off switch on the cord for each of the two bulbs. I have my grow light plugged into a ge outlet timer. I live in richmond, va so during the summer the it thrives outside but in the late fall and winter i have to bring it indoors.
Goosenecks on these are not very good. These ones have me worried they will droop onto my plants and burn them. Can't believe there are any positive reviews given the light fixtures couldn't support their own weight for even a single day. Do not waste... Read More
The clamp on the light is an added bonus. I have it hooked to a small 3 shelf set up hanging on my wall. I really like the clip-on feature; it offers more flexibility for adjusting the gooseneck dual head lights.
It definitely perks up my plants. I see my plants responding to them and growing very well.
Choose the light intensity and duration for your type of plants/seedlings/cuttings with 3 light spectra, several levels of brightness, and 3 timer settings. The timer function is my favorite. My only frustration is that the timers vary.
Picture appears to be black lamps, but they are infact silver in color. Cord is barely long enough to reach from above my aquarium to the wall outlet. The timer on this is pretty inaccurate.
This light is in a bedroom, so with it coming on earlier and earlier is a problem. It flickers and gets dim. It constantly turns off and changes brightness.
