I love the art, but it does not suggest the grit of dueling factions with an insurrection brewing underneath that obvious struggle. The mechanics are not complex but have sufficient nut-and-bolts to allow for good character differentiation.

The magnetic feature keeps minor bumps from rearranging the pieces. The corners are not craftsman quality, but it is very good for the price. Larger than modt boards (as desired). The pieces are shaped good, no weird bumps on bottom of the pieces.

This make learning fun & portable. Love it. My son loves it.

A cheap set that is easily stored. Great set for teaching kids or getting a quick game in. Good solid game set.

Good one page intro to the setup and game play. The only small suggestion i'd make for improvement is that the checkers aren't notched so they slide a little when you crown them.
