Light is bright and easy to install. In a darkened room, the rgb is not too bright and not too dim. There is one button on the remote that will instantly take the brightness to its lowest level, which is the night mode button.
Rgb light is not very bright as it is and cannot be dimmed. The large access plate and lettering on it is quite a turnoff. Honestly, i think the lamp looks a lot like a bedpan.
The dimmer switch provides three selections of brightness. The middle setting is perfect. It brightens the entire area and helps with lower light areas outside of the hallway.
Unlike the led bulb, this lighting has a number of small led's circularly inside the frosted dome. This is wider than the old fixture it replaced.
Easy to install. Light weight helps with one-person installation.
Found this * and love it. I love that it hugs the ceiling. Will install a second light in other existing location.
This one is chintzy with a plastic globe. These are quite pricey for the quality you are getting.
