My registered dietitian recommended dgl for gi healing. Licorice and the other ingredients have a coating and soothing effect. Helps the body make mucus which is why they help the gi.

Got mine back in march 4 and found normalcy start of may. This stuff works like it’s suppose too. I am not sure why it works so well but i am glad that it does.

The formula just did nothing for me. And there was also extremely watery and forceful diarrhea.
