This pump has been a game changer for me. I refill my tank every 2 to 3 days.

Not designed for pumping water out of a fountain. Units stops working after a few minutes of usage. Moust likely a heat problem.

The solar panel is efficient, requiring little light to power the motor. Only downside is it does not hold a charge and will not work unless full sun is hitting the solar panel. The battery seems to work well, giving the pump a stable flow.

Includes a vinyl hose of about 78 inches in length. The cord that connects the solar panel to the pump has plenty of length.

The pump is safeguarded by shutting off when there's insufficient water. You don't have to worry about the pump burning itself out trying to pump nonexistent water.

The design has many faults and quality is extremely bad. In short look for some other pump to avoid frustration. Some solar products run off solar and wont quit,say, if all of a sudden there's some cloud cover and the sun is seemingly hiding.
