I love how versatile this grow light strip is! Heats up a bit. Great for indoor plants. I just wish the chord from the plug to lights was longer.

There is no timer function, no way to adjust the brightness, and the strip broke for no reason. Usb plug has rust spots already on it. The strip light is convenient, but it's not very bright.

It's very bright and the dimmer function works great. It dims well. The ppfd was perfect for my venus flytraps which require 400 to 500 ppfd.

Price is amazing! Haven't had it for a long time so don't know about long lasting abilities. It's a great light, as others have said, solidly built and great value. My only complaint is that i wish the power cord was longer.

Better to use multiple smaller lights than one big less shading/better light distribution. I use one per two mature plants, in two long rows and that works perfectly. Would recommend for anyone with a 2x2x4 situation all day long.

The sl1000 maxes out at 981 at 12 inches. It does put out a decent amount of heat which is more noticeable in my situation since the enclosure is on the smaller side. Its more than adequately vented.

Ambient temp/light sensors show only ~5-6 fahrenheit degree change. They are enough to hang the lamp, but getting it to stay straight depends on the power cable not pushing the fixture. The dimmer is horrible though.
