Planet is an easy to learn game that includes a good mix of luck and strategy. It's very strategic and there’s lots of forward planning. I appreciate that it's really easy for beginners to pick up.

The game itself is beautiful and aesthetically pleasing to play. I usually play heavier games so this is more of a palate cleanser.

The instructions aren’t clear and there’s no effort made to connect the idea of habitats and wildlife in a larger way where we learn anything. The game is not recommended.
