The extract is very weak. It's watery, clear, and tastes sugary.

Slippery elm helps immensely. It also curbs my appetite, expels excess water weight.

This is the closest to the natural equivalent of carafate i have found. The taste isn't horrible like most liquids, and easily chases away with water. The flavor is fine and i just add it to a shot cup of water.
