It is cheap but it works really well. Can't beat the build quality for the price paid.

This heater is small (short) and very efficient and it fits in my tank very well. I have a betta and live plants that like warmer water. Works great and keeps a 46 gallon tank at 76 degrees.

It heats the water very good however the thermometer that comes with this heater is not very accurate. You want to always check any heater with a thermometer. The dial to set the temperature seems to be relatively accurate.

Product temp was set at 72 degrees. It says preset is 78 degrees, and my 10 gallon tank is constantly at 83+.

Water was very foggy and there were high traces of ammonia. Started to notice weird behavior in my betta. Will not heat tank and now won’t come on at all. I am very disappointed that my pet has to go yet another day without properly tempered water.

It keeps my tank between 76-82 degrees.

It only heats, and heats, then heats some more. It works by just heating the water in the tank while the heat also escapes into the surrounding air. The water was overheated.

Caveat emptor. I wish i'd spent a little more, & gotten one that would work for a longer period of time. Don't usually even write reviews.
