One thing to note before you go out to use these in the dark is to familiarize yourself with the operations & *. My kids keep trying to use it for missions to the fridge at night. Very pleased with purchase though, affordable and fun to have.
It is pretty good for some nighttime wildlife viewing over 100 yards. Clear as day.
The clarity of the pictures and the magnification/zoom feature is just astounding. Easy to switch quickly to infrared, zoom is adequate for star-gazing, bird-watching, etc.
The screen is clear, so i use these in place of my old traditional binoculars. My grandsons are hunters and these were for the 16 yr old.

Zoom is very hard to sight as it is button click instead of a scroll wheel or something smooth to keep sighted while zooming. Things get really blurry at night when zooming in to see things. No image stabilization.
