My curl pattern is a mix of 4b and 4c. There’s even a guide in the booklet showing a model with afro hair sectioned off.
This dries and stretches, like a blow dryer. The difference is way less time, straightened and dried roots, and minimal to no shedding. If you don't have type 4 hair you won't understand how miraculous this is. It cuts drying time in half.

While it does dry and stretch my hair, my hair is not as flowy or “dryer straight” as it is when using a traditional dryer. It also takes about the same time to dry. Traditional blow dryers don’t leave my hair stiff like the revair does.
Comes with a diffuser, a concentrator, and a plug converter. The low setting is pretty powerful and tends to straighten my curls. For thicker hair, one might struggle as the nozzle is a tiny bit bigger.

The dryer overheats so hot that i can’t even remove the diffuser from the end of the dryer. Melted the outside plastic and smelled strongly of something burning each time. It smells like it’s burning.
This is very frustrating. You have to use a screwdriver to turn it. Stopped using right away and switched to the wall mounted unit provided by hotel the rest of our trip.
