Pros and Cons
Pros4

But the results are totally worth it. It will last a lifetime if properly cared for.

It’s a slab of metal, but nicely manufactured. Steel has it over stone hands down. Dense and heavy.

Pizza snobs love it. This thing is a beast. The steel stone is awesome!

This steel is great. This steel works fantastic! Highly recommended. I hope this information helps you.

Cons3

It is wide and smooth and heavy and awkward to lift out of the oven and into the sink to clean off. It weighs 25 pounds so it is highly unlikely that your wife will want to move this monster to the over every time you want to use it.

The nerd chef stone takes too long to heat up. This means that the crust will cook until it burns. My old perforated aluminum pan cooks 100 times better than this and gives me a perfect crust.

It's just iron with enough carbon in it composite to quality it as steel but it rusts and may not be really safe. Rusted after day 1. It's not like it was soaking in hot acidic water.

Pros3

The sheet is a bit heavy, but that also means it's quite durable. I believe the insulated style helps bake cookies properly. This sheet is heavier than the old baking shee and it's a close fit between the range and cabinet.

These pans are steel, and much sturdier. I can't believe it has taken me this long to finally invest in a legit pizza pan.

It recommends to hand wash, and honestly i don't know if it would fit in my dishwasher anyway. It cleans with just a hot soapy cloth.

Cons1

Watch out with these “insulated” pans. They do not shield the bottom of your baked goods like older ones did and, even worse, they warp when in the oven. Mainly because they are too heavy to lift in and out of the oven.
