The size of the room definitely changes how they look in terms of brightness. Having to use 6 bulbs together contributes to them working as daylight brightness. Although they are 40 watt, they are quite bright.

These have a terrible lifespan and are not worth the money. Was very displeased.

The bulbs fit well and are very bright white for 40 watt bulbs. I live on a farm where it is necessary to have light in areas really hard to get to (chicken coop and ceiling in the barn) my only caution is to check the warmth or coolness of the light....  Read More

Great value for the money. Great packaging. They have a coating sprayed on the outside of the bulb that keeps them from shattering. Highly recommended by amazon.

The light color is harsh neon blue. Only 3 of the 24 bulbs work as advertised. Every time a breaker trips, it gets weaker and eventually needs to be replaced.
