Bamboo gives a great heaviness and cooling effect to the blanket. The knit is a little tighter than my cotton thermal blankets. Warm without being bulky.
The blanket is much softer than pure cotton. Since it is all natural fibers, it breathes better than any synthetic blanket does. It washes up well, dried it on low in the dryer, it's lightweight and comfortable.
The color (minty green) is absolutely gorgeous. The tiffany blue color is a greenish aquamarine that really pops. It is well-made and i like the beach teal color — it is so cheerful.
But it washes well and the odor was gone on first wash.
The blanket weave is tight enough not to constantly pull and loop, which is a personal pet peeve. The design is minimalist but still has visual interest with its discreet geometrical pattern.
My dog is my service dog. They absolutely adore this thing. Our kids want one for their own bed lol. The cats actually like it more than the dog. It's big enough to fit my dog and cat plus toys.
Even during these weeks of early spring, he's able to work up his body heat, which ups his respiration rate. In the winter it can be below zero and he's ready to go outside and roll in the snow and sleet. After a workout they can get even warmer.
Fabric is super soft. The material is silky and soft. And it's sooo soft. It also seems to be somewhat absorbent.
These are a game changer for their comfort. My shih-tzu puppy loves sleeping on it. I have an english bulldog who chews up everything.
It is easier to clean just what i put on top of his dog beds as opposed to the whole bed every week. He likes to ball it up and use it as a pillow or bolster. It is lightweight and comfortable.
This item, the xlarge, was not quilted like the large. The filling is sticking out through the blanket now, it’s very sharp.
