Bamboo gives a great heaviness and cooling effect to the blanket. The knit is a little tighter than my cotton thermal blankets. Warm without being bulky.
The blanket is much softer than pure cotton. Since it is all natural fibers, it breathes better than any synthetic blanket does. It washes up well, dried it on low in the dryer, it's lightweight and comfortable.
The color (minty green) is absolutely gorgeous. The tiffany blue color is a greenish aquamarine that really pops. It is well-made and i like the beach teal color — it is so cheerful.
But it washes well and the odor was gone on first wash.
The blanket weave is tight enough not to constantly pull and loop, which is a personal pet peeve. The design is minimalist but still has visual interest with its discreet geometrical pattern.
The blanket is very lightweight, but so warm. It’s soft like a sweatshirt. It's also breathable.
Buying stuff on amazon has become such a crapshoot. It fits my queen bed like any blanket made for a queen size bed should.
The inside material is like the cheap fleece hoodie lining from like the off brand walmart hoodies. The other side feels like sand paper. Think minky plush feel. It is scratchy and not at all comfortable on the top side.
Throws are just too short to cover you toes to shoulders. It is very small when it folds up. Not breathable either.
