The porcelain bowl holder is sturdy and easy to assemble. The bottom of the plate has a structural design and help prevent it from slipping off the holder.

The frame is sturdy when assembled, but immediately out of the box, the layers of wood are peeling away from each other in 3 separate places. Bowls are fine bur the side wood pieces are cracked in several places. Not worth the money.
