At full brightness, it is as bright as the old halogen bulb. Appears to be closer to 200 watt equivalent which is in line with the watt to lumen references i have read.

Bulb is a drop in replacement that works with the dimming systems of my home automation. Also works perfectly with my old lamp's dimmer. Dimming range is excellent too for an led bulb.

Skin oils shorten a halogen bulb's life span. Lo and behold, it works! I worry about the longevity but hopefully it will last.

The daylight color balance is just what i wanted. My room is much brighter now than before. The light is a little harsher white than the halogen was but still fine.

All-in-all not ideal, but livable. Extremely pleased with this purchase. First impressions - it seems to be a keeper!

The installation is very convenient and easy to fix. The packing is also perfect and there is no extrusion damage.

It's brighter than the cfl bulb that was included. It is brighter than both cfl and incandescent lightbulbs.
