Item is not made out of glass as advertised. I believe the shade is plastic and the overall working mechanisms failed very soon after arrival.

These are cordless, rechargeable, dimmable and give off beautiful light for indoor or outdoor dining. I like that it is a rechargeable light and the battery lasts fairly long time.
