Light stays on, picture and magnification is great. Auto eject drops the slides in a neat pile for easy collection/collating.

In the meantime, this little machine is pretty nice. More time consuming but not intolerable. The manual that came with this is more detailed than most.

It only takes a few seconds to do a scan unless you want to adjust the brightness or color. The only annoying issue is the cropping of the scan. Very easy to use and produces clear scans.

After i scan 4 or 5 slides, i get a fall (which i assume means fail) message and cannot scan any more until i re-format the sd card and start over. I have no idea why it's doing this but it's a headache when it keeps happening.
