Ppfd is recommended for flowering. It produces good light that helps them sprout. I also have zucchini that is full of blooms.

It is so bright, but i think my cactus is liking it. It just amazes me how far lighting technology has come. At 6,000 lumens this light puts out about the same as 4-100 watt bulbs.

I also appreciate that it doesn't shine purple like so many plant light brands do.

This is a decent ultra-thin grow light with stepless dimming that can fit on those ikea cubic bookshelves. It has a dimmer switch on the cord and easy to adjust.

The bare aluminum back helpfully says do not touch when in operation. Put the unit down to inspect. There is perhaps a chance that i received a unit that was defective and shorting out.

Auto on/off timer (nice), usb power cord and large brick. Perfect for those who like to keep things programmed for simplicity and ease of care. Only downside is no instructions oh how to use for first timers to this product.

The base is a 3 wide x 4+ deep plastic clamp. The hub where the four light strips attach is held aloft by a single rigid rod. The rods to give it height aren't real sturdy, but if not handled too much should be okay.

The lights have to be on top of the plants. It is so dim. It seems like faulty wiring as the same issue occurred when i plugged it in another outlet. The indicator light is on but none of the lights illuminate.

At the time of this review, the item was priced at $26. There are similar products on the market that offer better value for the same price. Another drawback is the lack of an automatic timer feature.

The base and pole is cheap and very thin. The tripod stand is awful. The legs keep collapsing. The clip is flawed as well.
