It is a good 'dupe' however the quality difference is there. The gold is a deep color that looks rich and not like a cheap yellow gold. This takes a bulb with a chandelier base, though the globe is big enough to accommodate most any size bulb.

The light is stylish and looks nice. One of my favorite features is the fact that it’s uplit as well as the down lighting. The frosted shade is glass and the first one arrived shattered but amazon quickly replaced it.

The lights are beautiful, they look even better than i imagined they would. They are beautiful and add sophistication to the bedrooms. These are absolutely fabulous!

It installs with silver screws that you can clearly see. Simply insert the diffuser into the base and gently turn it clockwise.

The gold has a satiny finish and looks very nice. The brushed gold is attractive. Looks fantastic and modern.

Maybe there was a hairline crack that was undetected at the time. There are three 1/3in high nubs that would prevent it from ever sitting flush on the ceiling. This design flaw isn't specific to this light or maker.
