The telescopic stand is reinforced. Each ridge cranks into place and is then reinforced via a pin lock. The hand crank is smooth and folds up when not in use.

Stand is well made, sturdy, and easy to use. Uses rings and a nylon strap to attach to the stands. My favorite speaker fits perfectly, i was worried that it would fall during our party.

The foldable tripod legs also help keep it stable. Maybe the footprint is a bit on the large side, but it works for my setup.

Lb speakers on these and they are incredibly unstable/wobbly. The joints are flexy plastic.
