This 1 qt saucepan is exactly what i needed, and turned out to be so much sturdier than what i expected. Its also pretty solid so im confident in its sturdiness.
Pan heats very well on my gas stove and is not tippy, good level heavy bottom. This pan has a slightly rounded bottom which makes it just right for stir-fries.
The only negative is just the minor nuisance of clean-up around the rivets. This is easy to use and cleans up good. Cleans up easy too.
Easy to clean and heats evenly. Heats up quickly & evenly. On my induction cooktop, it takes 1 minute to heat up water to boiling.
Kitchenaid stainless set is awesome easy to clean and cooks food evenly. Dishwasher safe and no * non-stick coating. It's stainless steel, inside and out, which is becoming more difficult to find.
Kitchenaid sells a 3qt sauce pot as a 4qt and the label on the package says 4qt as well. My other 2 qt saucepans are much bigger. The sauce drips when pouring.
It heats well and evenly. The lid is nice and heavy, but it does get hot.
The shine is really attractive. The reputation all-clad enjoys is certainly well deserved.
Original ss pans are still my favorite after 30 yrs of use. Very durable and perfect for the range top. Same quality and reliability and durability as my previous purchase.
The d3 is not as heavy as d5 and usually much more reasonably priced. I just get whichever i can get the best deal on. It is a heavy pan, and compared to my other 3 qt farberware, it really shows the quality difference.
The 2 qt pan is too heavy and awkward to use. The company is brainwashing the public by charging an astronomical price for it.
Lid design allows condensation to drip everywhere when you lift the lid. Had burnt marks at the bottom and inside. Discoloration after first use.
