The tripod is light but not too cheaply made. The adjustable arms give you accessibility to use on multiple shelves. It extends in height and also able to move the lights around and spred them out to reach a wider area.
The timer function makes it easy to not burn the plants with too much sun. The color range is perfect and the timers are accurate.
Great buy. Has many options for use. Bought 2. Highly recommend this product. It is an excellent buy.
Star for failing its purpose entirely. Light now is manual on, manual off by me, the user. The timer only works a few days then stops functioning.
The principle of this purchase bothers me greatly. It’s past warranty so my only recourse is to try to protect other customers from throwing their money away.
Not as advertised or pictured. Worthless junk. This thing is absolute worthless junk.
It is so bright, but i think my cactus is liking it. At 6,000 lumens this light puts out about the same as 4-100 watt bulbs. It just amazes me how far lighting technology has come, that you can get something with this amount of brightness for so cheap... Read More
Ppfd is recommended for flowering. It produces good light that helps them sprout and then build into nice strong plants. I also have zucchini that is full of blooms.
Others are on tripods and * attached to the plant stands. For the top of the cabinet, magnetic hooks work great, but for the lower shelf i used the wire /hook option it came with but had to cut part of it to rig it.
It has a dimmer switch on the cord. I like that it can be dimmed as i can dim it while the plants are young and then increase the light as they need it.
The light provides light and heat for my indoor pants. Not too much heat, perfect for 2x2 tent. Heat/warmth from the light is virtually no issue at all.
The bare aluminum back helpfully says do not touch when in operation. Put the unit down to inspect. There is perhaps a chance that i received a unit that was defective and shorting out.
