It really teaches you great deal about art from centuries ago. The book is a little beat up but that's to be expected when it's going in and out of bags constantly. Illustrations and text mesh beautifully with the professor’s lectures.

Paper is great and holds up well, and for the nay sayers. I appears to be hot press paper, smooth and doesn’t curl or warp too much.
A few minor quibbles with the book includes that the supplies list doesn't include masking fluid. The instructions are pretty clear. The other side of the page provides the detailed instruction and supply list.
The kindle version of this book is *awful*. This book was printed on exceptionally low quality dimpled watercolor paper. It is fine if i open it up on my computer, but this was sold for kindle. Not worth returning it tho.
The illustrations are very basic and waste the entire page. The instructions are very vague, and written, instead of illustrated, making them totally useless to a visual learner like myself.
