These have a long shelf life, but i have had difficulty getting batteries before that were affordable and would properly depassivate. Done correctly it works great.
The batteries were stamped 2010 and were not compatible with out current alarm system. Since it's made in china, there is maybe one or two factories that manufacturer these batteries and slap on a label for the distributor selling them.
Batteries last longer than energizer (normal energizer 9v for smoke detectors) use these in a driveway alert. Haven't used enough to know their longevity.

My recommendation is spend a bit more money for duracell. Not worth returning.
Not sure if they are recycled and relabeled or just poor quality. Not well designed packaging. Flat * junk.
