There’s 24 rods total to drape things across. The hanger arms are especially useful for hanging longer clothes like dresses or long pants. Multiples of jeans and sweat pants can be hung from the rods.
This drying rack is wonderful. We quit using a dryer in 2006 to cut down on fabric damage (the lint traps hold the fabric remains) as a result, it's both environmentally & economically helpful.

I feel like i have to be super careful with it if i want it to last. Kind of disappointed after reading the good reviews.
This product was cheaply made. It comes with 2 built in hooks that you can't remove or add on. Don't plan to add any other hooks or any weight whatsoever. If you hang anything heavier than your wife's * to dry after the wash it will collapse.
