Set-up is straightforward, and in 45 minutes or so, you can have all fourteen pods planted and the system running. This one has a drain hole which is very convenient as emptying the container is way easier than with other systems.
The design is very clean and minimalist. One of the positive aspects about this particular piece is that you can actually set the clock on it and choose your running times. It's fairly simple to set the modes and times.
This is perfect for a grow light for starters. Hung this in my greenhouse cabinet. The peppers seem to love this light.
This thing is a lil beast. Waiting for another sale to scoop up another one. Pictures are of my current setup.
I have another 65 watt light and it's a bit brighter, maybe like 1. It is very bright. Good build quality, and the adjustable brightness is wonderful. I know it doesn't use top of the line led beads, but it uses twice as many cheaper ones.
The dimmer is very functional and very handy. The built in fan helps to disperse the heat effectively.
Lights shut off when the dial is turned under 20%. What a disappointment.
