It's lightweight but looks heavier than it is. It has a nice lip on this side and is very sturdy/stable when on a cushioned surface.

Shipping took too long; however, i am pleased with the item itself. Looks great for cheese, cake or any food display. I use this for presentation of my cakes and desserts so having one that is uneven in color really takes away from the look.
