The second one that i got has the same issue. This is incredibly disappointing. The motor does not open the eyes.

System works well, both upstairs and downstairs. Comes with two ringers (one upstairs and one downstairs) one inside and one outside in lanai. Plug the receivers in and done.

This doorbell is a great bargain. Exceeded my expectations, sleek, good looking design and 100% functional.

It is written in instruction manual but not in the amazon description anywhere. I believe manufacture should have written this drawback in bold and capitals.

Red light keeps flashing despite repeated button presses on transmitter. The transmitter flashes when pressed but no sound from the receivers. It will signal to the guest that they've rung it, but it doesn't activate either receiver.
