The timer function and ability to change the brightness is a plus, but i plan to only use the light at full brightness. The timer has a 4h, 8h, and 12h timer that comes on automatically once set. The bulbs stay cool to the touch when lit.

The controls are amazing otherwise it’s flimsy. Regardless, it is very nice and definitely helps my plants get the much needed light.

The ground stakes is very sturdy and held very well to all of the soil surfaces that i tried out. I wish it came with changeable end pieces where one was flat so it could free stand on a surface rather than being put in the plant.

It is probably ok for one established plant, but definitely not enough for seed germination. Power button barely works and the timer doesn't work either. Cheap and flimsy.

One downside is that the gooseneck isn't as sturdy as it could be. The clamp is very strong. It has to be positioned so it’s gripping sideways or pointed down.

The lights are very bright in my small hallway. During the day it is not too overpowering as long as you don’t have the bulbs pointed directly outward near where you usually sit.

These are actual grow lights unlike most cheap clip ons on amazon. Can't imagine recommending anything else for houseplants or windowsill plants. Kudos to kudo for standing behind their products.

not enough for growing vegetables indoors to maturity. maybe enough for microgreens - a little weak. Also the flexible arms do not hold their position at all, they sag heavily.
