Uses candlebra bulbs-i’m using a 40 watt bulb in this pic. It’s only a 4 watt bulb but it lights up the dark bathroom like it is daylight. Above my bedroom fireplace i have a small shelf that i just thought would look nicer with a bit of light on it.

The base is heavier than i thought it would be, and it is an amazing value for the price. Good quality, ceramic base soft white lamp shade. Well made, sturdy.

Don’t recommend for nightstands. One side is almost completely white while the other side has streaks and smudges in it. The bulb is costly.

The quality is not as advertised. The lamp base is more off-white. It is nothing like what was advertised.
