The flexible necks of these lamps are wonderful and the clamp is very strong. The only downside is the cord could be longer for us but it may be just fine for someone else. Best buy for the money.

The pl-1k easily out runs a 400 watt mh in one of my veg/mother plant/papa plant spaces. The dimmer is a must have. Dimming and daisy chaining just add more benefits.

I'm no pro and i have several lights with fans (now retired), this is in a different ballpark. Far superior in every way to an earlier light purchased with similar intentions.

Not all diodes are the samsung lm301b. The dimmer function is a joke. Regret not spending the extra $100 for better quality and have the whole board of the samsunglm301b. This light works but this new model is * compared to the old one.
