The chairs stay put, even on my satin finish oak. It helps from scratching my floors. The foamy cushion keeps them from being off balance.

After a week plus of use the pads under the most used chairs completely flattened out to less then half of the original thickness. But at least it is quiet when you do that. These are not felt pads at all--they're some sort of rubbery material.

Best friend with hardwood flooring. Easy to put on. Chairs glide like silk with no friction.

Half on hardwood, half on rug. Getting the sticky glue off the floors are a nightmare! Would need super glue to make this work.
