Pros and Cons

Pros5

The full-spectrum 25-watt output is incredibly bright. It can be considered equivalent to a 150-w watt conventional bulb of yesteryear. The light panel is large, measuring 8. Inches.

Unit as a whole is lightweight and easy to maneuver. Utility is relatively high. Allows you to put a tray of plans directly over it. Shipped fast & in great condition.

The base is stable enough to balance the fixture unless twisted into an awkward position. At full extension ( as in the photos ) as you tilt the light, it wants to tip over. The extendable pole holds it very well.

The most stellar feature of this light is - the controls. The daisy chain feature is great as you only have to plug one into the outlet. Plant seems to be adapting to this light pretty well.

Sturdy tripod and lighting head appears well made. It's very sturdy and heavy so no worries about it getting easily knocked over. The telescoping stand is also very nice.

Cons1

The gooseneck and clamp that it's attached too is far too flimsy to hold it. Also, the goose neck is extremely short. It's hard to clamp it to a table without the head of the light being right up on the plant.

Pros4

After setting it to glow for 12 hours a day, it's been completely dependable. Has a timer function. My only dislike is that if the power goes out you have to reset the timer and you can’t set it on a timed outlet either.

These lights are just what these area needs to give it the light that they aren't able to get through the fogged out windows. I live in a basement with no outside light and my plants are absolutely thriving. I even have aloe and succulents.

The clamp attachment and maneuverability of its wand like lights mean you don't have to keep lifting the pots to reposition, but rather just move the light source. The heads are easy manipulated and don't fall out of place.

The closet is my greenhouse where i keep my seedlings and houses my “plant hospital”. Essential for early seed starting and overwintering of your more needy plants. For more information on seedling seeding click here.

Cons2

The clip is just barely too small to clamp onto my ikea lack table. The usb port on this light is not quality at all.

In my opinion it is not worth the money. It’s life span is short. This is my secons one in 4 months, not worth what i paid for less then 2 months. Would not buy again.
